"I got a traffic ticket for speeding 154km/hr on the 401. A cop pulled me over and gave me a traffic ticket summons! I didn't think I could fight this speeding ticket because I was caught on radar but No Points Traffic Tickets fully dismissed the speeding ticket without me even going to court! Thanks So Much To No Points Traffic Tickets!"
Traffic Tickets FAQs
line
Q. What qualifications do you have?
A. No Points Traffic Tickets, a division of Paralegal Source is fully licensed by the law society of Upper Canada. Our Paralegals and Criminal Lawyers are members, in good standing, of the Upper Law Society of Upper Canada and the Agents at Court Institute. We have graduated from Post Secondary Institutions that are recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Training.
Q. Will this traffic ticket affect my insurance rates?
A. Insurance companies have complete access to your driving record. We have seen paying one traffic ticket increase insurance rates by over 1000%! Even 2 minor convictions will likely increase your insurance rates. Insurance companies look at convictions, not just what your tickets are to increase your rates. For example although one minor speeding ticket for traveling 10 or 20 over the limit probably wouldn't increase your rates, having a minor ticket for not having your insurance card would be considered a second conviction which would send your rates up.
If you get involved in an accident with any of these minor convictions on your record, expect your rates to at least double.
Traffic tickets like, Careless Driving, Speeding more than 50km over the limit, Fail to Remain, and Failing to Stop for a School Bus, will automatically make your insurance rates double or triple!
Insurance rates have been known to soar from $1000 to $10,000+ as a result of Traffic Tickets!
Q. My insurance company absorbs my first ticket, so shouldn't I just pay this?
A. No, In some cases the offices may even reduce the ticket at the time its issued. You're insurance company will increase your rates whenever they legally can. So why give them the leverage? Many people don't realize that even though the ticket is reduced, Insurance companies see it on your record. Our prices are often LOWER then the fine amount of the ticket!
Q. For how long does a driving conviction stay on my record?
A. 3 years from the date of conviction. The conviction stays on your record for another year. No conviction will be sent to the Ministry of Transport until after the court date.
A. No, however, it depends on the nature of the charge you've been charged with. You must sign a consent form which allows us to represent you in court, and make a professional decision to achieve the best results.
